Food Service IMPORTANT!! You will need your child's/student ID number instead of their PIN/lunch number to access their account viva EZSchool Pay.com. EZSchool pay is now ready to use. For every credit there is a charge per transaction. Any question please call 241-3827, Judy Pearce, Lunchroom Manager at Oxford Middle. The Oxford City System provides a food program in each school and participates in the federally sponsored Child Nutrition Program. This program is designated to assist school systems in providing nutritious lunches to all students at reasonable prices and free and reduced lunches to those students unable to pay. Application forms for free and reduced lunches are furnished to students. Students who are interested may apply by completing the form and returning it to the homeroom teacher. Accounting for free meals is done in a manner that protects the anonymity of the students receiving free meals. A nutritious breakfast and lunch is served daily in the Oxford Middle School Cafeteria. The breakfast consist of an entree, low-fat milk and 100% fruit juice.The plate lunch includes meat, vegetables, fruit, milk and dessert. Students may purchase additional tray items or a la carte items. Students may also bring their lunches to school. Lunches from "fast food" restaurants are not allowed in the lunchroom. Food may only be eaten in the cafeteria during the lunch period. Snacks are not permitted at Oxford Middle School. GUM IS NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME. Monthly menus will be available in the main office at the being of each month or you may view on line at www.oxford.k12.al.us/. Click on Schools, select your child's school, select the Lunchroom, then select View Menu. MEAL COST It is the responsibility of the student and parent to provide lunch money. The school does not loan lunch money nor do they allow charging. You may purchase a meal ticket by sending cash, personal check, or money orders. We also offer paying by web using this web site--www.EZSchoolPay.com. Please remember this site only excepts credit cards--Visa or Mastercard--and they do charge a fee. EZSchoolPay.com To use EZSchool Pay just log on to the webb site http://www.ezschoolpay.com/ and follow the prompts. You will need your child's lunch account number. If you need any help or your child does not remember their number please call 241-3827, Judy Pearce-manager. Even if you do not want to use this way to place money on your child's account, you can always look at their balance and there is no charge. The only time you will be charged is when you place money on the account by using a Visa or Mastercard. For more information concerning EZSchoolPay please refer to the Oxford City School's home web page. Student's breakfast is $1.00 and lunch is $2.00 a day. If your child qualifies for reduce the price is $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch. Milk is included in the cost of the meal but tea, $.50 a day, and water/ice,$.30 a day, are considered ala-cart/extra sales. At anytime you may inquire about your child's account by calling Judy Pearce, lunchroom manager, at 241-3827 between the hours of 6 am to 2 pm. You may also use the web at http://www.ezshoolpay.com/ -- You must set up a parent page with your student's ID number. There is no charge for viewing the balance and best of all you can check on the balance all hours of the day, not just during school hours of operation. Menu Options At breakfast we try to offer a hot meal with 100% juice and Low-fat milk. Choice of juices are apple, grape, and orange juice. Choice of milks are 2% white and 1% chocolate. A variety of lunch menu options await your selection. Most days there will be a choice of entree with Pizza being a second choice at least 2 times a week. We also offer a salad everyday and fresh fruit 2 to 3 times a week. Baked potatoes and baked sweet potatoes are offered every Monday. Our cakes and brownies are low fat and our yeast rolls are home made. Milk choices are chocolate, white, strawberry. Tea and water may be purchased but can not be substituted for milk. MILK OPTIONS Low fat chocolate and white milk are offered all year. New flavors are Orange Cream until 10/31/08, Vanilla from 11/1/08 to 1/30/09 and last but not least will be strawberry from 2/1/09 to the end of school.
